The other night we got a call from Lyndell, a friend who lives in San Alejo. She told us about an unusual insect that looked like it was covered in sticks. It resembled some kind of blob that did not look like an insect, but she was sure that it had moved during the previous night. Her camera is broken, so she asked me if I could come by and get some pictures.
You know that I am always game to take pictures of unusual insects, so I hopped on my bike the next morning and went to see if the “bug” was still there.
