People change as they age.  Before retiring I believe the only art shows I had ever attended were at elementary schools and those only because one or more of my children had pictures on display.  However since we have moved to Ecuador, Mary has become quite an artist and has painted many amazing pictures.  Even the old man has taken up drawing a bit.

We have attended art exhibits in Manta, Bahia, and Portoviejo and found them to be quite entertaining.  So, when our friends Gary and Louise told us they were putting together an art show in Crucita, we decided to attend.  Even if the art had been uninteresting, the setting for the show would have been enough to entice us to make the trip!  The show was held outdoors on the top of the hill above Cruicita at the La Loma Restaurant.
