About two years ago Mary and I bought a pasta maker.  We had visions of preparing spinach pasta and other specialty pasta mixes and having then as healthier alternatives to normal spaghetti products.  Mary and I got online and discovered many different pasta drying racks.  Some of these looked like they would be easy to make, so I stepped up (former handyman that I was) and said I would make a custom pasta drier.

The first few steps of the project went well and I got the wood needed for the uprights, stand, and crossbar for our new drier.  I had two nice 1/4 inch wooden dowels left over from another project and figured to use these and seven more for the actual bars from which the wet noodles would hang.
