Last night Mary called to me from the patio. A near full moon was peeking through the palm fronds and clouds as it rose over the hill to our east. It looked so beautiful that I grabbed my camera and tripod and went out onto the upstairs deck.
As the clouds parted and the sky became more clear it appeared as though the Creator was forming a new light in the eastern sky.
The Bible refers to the moon as the, “lesser light” which rules the night.
From where I stood last night I can not imagine calling this wonderful creation a “lesser” anything.
A friend of ours at Patrons of the Pit in Minnesota recently noted, “Our Lord sure can create!”
God bless you all as you wonder at the greatness of this beautiful world.
