I got a new bicycle a few weeks ago and have embarked on a new exercise/weight loss program that has been eating into some of my “spare” time. Mary and I also have started working on a new garden area in the front of our home that has kept me pretty busy lately. Add to that the day to day activities that seem to fill up every day even though we are supposed to be “retired” and I have neglected taking time to sketch.
After nearly three weeks of no drawing, I finally took the time to sit and relax with the pencils. I drew another bird, because they fascinate me and I hope to get a whole collection of bird pictures to make into some sort of collage to hang on the wall.
Here is my Macaw:
It was fun to get back to drawing again! I will try to keep fitting time to sketch each week as Lisa has challenged us to do.
