This last week we have been busy working around the house and getting Jan’s home ready for her return, so we have not published as many posts as we usually do. In spite of the busy days I did take a little time out for pencil sketching as we have been challenged to do by Lisa (aka – Zeebra) – See: http://playamart.wordpress.com/2013/06/12/timeout-for-art-concentration/.
I continue to work on learning new ways to use shading to create depth and texture. I hope you like it.
I know it is beginning art, but I am trying this because it is fun and a relaxing diversion. Even if I do not get much better, drawing is a good creative outlet for me.
Once again, thanks to Lisa for throwing out the challenge and to Mary for her encouragement and tips.
Life is good in Ecuador.
